In our first blog of a series on things and people we love, I've picked Paloma Faith, who headlined V Festival at the weekend. She's original, wacky and has a great 40's/60's fusion going on.
"A gorgeous outfit for her Saturday night performance at V Festival in Chelmsford. I love her music as much as I love her superb eccentric style."
"I love the 40's twist on this look along with last seasons fave colour Marsala. The green skirt is contrasting with her apricot hair teamed with a 40's flick and true colour skin. I love how Paloma stays with her own skin colouring and doesn't try to wear darker skin shades."
"A red lip perfectly applied will always impress me. Porcelain skin and soft contour alongside her signature brows is a beautiful take on this classic pin up look."
"The colours are to die for and the style reminds me of the beautiful women of the 50's placing pastels together effortlessly. Hair is lighter and going for a lighter lip shade marries makeup and styling perfectly. Very nice cool colours here."
"I'm not partial to an overly dark brow but when it's worn like this, it's allowed! I love the drama the brow adds; automatically pulling your eye to her perfect liner. Lips are not the main focus as they usually are. The blue is a great contrast to Paloma's hair making this image look a bit moody and editorial. Love the victory rolls too."
Thank you Paloma Faith - it is a joy to watch you perform and see your fab choice of outfits and looks. You display a real sense of individualism, and show us how great it is express your own style. You constantly remind us that it's good to experiment with new looks. You are a great inspiration.
